Bluejay Volleyball Team Topples UT-Tyler

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Elmhurst College volleyball team moved to 15-14 overall by defeating the University of Texas-Tyler 3-1 at the Trinity University Fall Classic.
Elmhurst downed UT-Tyler in four sets, 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 25-10. Paige Fombelle led the Bluejays with 13 kills while Caitlin O'Hara added eight. Lindy Melville totaled 20 assists while Katie Buechel finished with 19 digs.
Elmhurst faces Texas Lutheran and Trinity (Texas) on the tournament's second day.
