Anthony McPherson
Head Coach
Anthony McPherson enters his second season as the head coach of the Elmhurst College women's tennis team. McPherson also serves as the head men's tennis coach at Elmhurst.
Last season, McPherson led Elmhurst to an 8-6 overall record and a sixth-place finish at the CCIW Championships.
McPherson earned a bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College in 2007, closing out his tennis career as one of the school's most decorated players. McPherson earned three all-conference honors, including first-team recognition during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. He finished his four-year career ranked fifth in school history in both singles (61) and doubles (61) victories. His pairing with Dan Faretta in doubles matches, led to 41 career victories, the second highest total in school history. He also holds the single season record for most wins at No. 2 singles with 18 during the 2006 season.
