Bluejay Tennis Team Splits Pair of Matches
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's tennis team moved to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the CCIW after splitting a pair of CCIW matches. The Bluejays dropped a 7-2 decision to Illinois Wesleyan and then defeated Millikin University -3.
Against Illinois Wesleyan, Lauren Hennessey (Lombard/Glenbard East) scored a win at No. 6 singles while the doubles team of Hennessey and Kristin Leninger (Forest Park/Trinity) also earned a win.
In the Bluejays' win over Millikin, Emmy Odean (Rock Island/H.S.), Sabrina Ruff (Elmhurst/Trinity), Alex Stark (Batavia/H.S.) and Donna McKinney (Bloomingdale/Lake Park) all earned singles victories.
