Dallman Named CCIW Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst's Virgina Dallman has been named the CCIW Player of the Week in Women's Tennis.
Dallman, a sophomore in her first season with the Bluejays, posted a 3-1 record in singles play and a perfect 4-0 record in doubles competition last week. She defeated Illinois Wesleyan's Helen Alex (6-4, 6-4), Quincy's Anele Novak (6-0, 6-1), and Millikin's Hannah Church (6-0, 6-1) while playing at No. 1 singles for the Bluejays.
Dallman teamed with Shannon Dale at No. 1 doubles to defeat North Central's Cory Schillerstrom and Alicia Degrado (8-4), Illinois Wesleyan's Alex and Liz Exo (9-8), Quincy's Novak and Lauren Henry (8-40, and Millikin's Church and Michelle Hart.
For the season, Dallman has a 4-4 overall record in singles play and a 6-2 record in doubles matches.
