Women's Soccer Team Wins Second Straight

ELMHURST, Ill. - Four second half goals by the Elmhurst College women's soccer team broke a 1-1 halftime tie and lifted the Bluejays to a 5-1 win over North Park University.
Kelsey Caldwell (Plainfield/South) scored the first two goals of the second half to give Elmhurst a 3-1 advantage. Caldwell scored her first goal off a Cassandra Giese (Batavia/H.S.) feed. Caldwell's second goal in the 52nd minute came on a penalty kick.
Kelly Huson (Peoria/Richwoods) tacked on a goal off assists from Caldwell and Giese and Ellyse Cudone (Charleston/H.S.) added a goal in the 82nd minute to give the Bluejays four second half goals.
Elmhurst (3-4-1, 1-0-0 CCIW) began the scoring in the first half when Courtney Constantino (Strongsville, Ohio/Powell) blasted home a shot off a feed from Caldwell in the 17th minute.
North Park (0-6-2, 0-1-0 CCIW) evened the score in the 33rd minute when Gina Guido scored off a corner kick.
Jessica Eberle (Bloomington, Ind./North) and Allison Korbel (Schaumurg/H.S.) each recorded two saves for the Bluejays.
The Bluejays host Wheaton College on Wednesday, September 26, at 4:00 p.m.
