Women's Soccer Team Drops Heartbreaker to Webster 2-1

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's soccer team slipped to 1-3-0 on the season following a 2-1 overtime loss to Webster University.
The Bluejays led 1-0 until Webster evened the score in the 59th minute on a Kelsey McClure goal.
Webster (3-0-0) scored the game winner just 15 seconds into the overtime period, as Katie Meeks recovered a ball that got past Elmhurst keeper Jessica Eberle (Bloomington, Ind./North). Meeks' shot hit the goal post and ricocheted back towards the goal, just trickling into the net for the game winning goal.
Elmhurst scored its goal just 55 seconds into the match when Courtney Constantino (Strongsville, Ohio/H.S.) blasted home a shot off a feed from Kelsey Caldwell (Plainfield/Plainfield South).
Eberle totaled eight saves in goal for the Bluejays while Webster's keeper, Jessica Kozney recorded 10 saves.
The Bluejays travel to Kalamazoo College on Friday, September 14.
