Women's Soccer Team Falls to St. Thomas

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's soccer team dropped to 0-2 on the 2007 season following a 2-0 loss to the University of St. Thomas at the Illinois Wesleyan University Tournament.
St. Thomas (1-1) tallied goals in each half to score the 2-0 shutout victory.
St. Thomas jumped on the board in the 13th minute on a goal from Regina Horak. The Tommies tacked on a goal in the second half when Caitlin Carrigan put home a Carrier Lauterbach corner kick.
Jessica Eberle (Bloomington, Ind./North) recorded four saves in net for the Bluejays.
The Bluejays host Lakeland College on Wednesday, September 5, at 5:00 p.m.
