Women's Soccer Team Blanked by Carthage 1-0

KENOSHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst College women's soccer team slipped to 4-10-1 overall and 2-4-0 in the CCIW following a 1-0 loss at Carthage College.
Carthage (13-2-0, 4-0-0 CCIW) got on the scoreboard in the 39th minute when Jackie Peterson headed home a corner kick from Ashleigh Johnson.
Carthage outshot Elmhurst 9-1 and had a 3-0 shots on goal advantage.
Jessica Eberle (Bloomington, Ind./North) recorded a pair of saves in the net for the Bluejays.
Elmhurst hosts Carroll College on Saturday, October 20.
