Bluejay Women Blanked By Illinois Wesleyan

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's soccer team slipped to 3-9-1 overall and 1-3-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin following a 3-0 shutout loss to Illinois Wesleyan University.
Illinois Wesleyan (6-6-1, 2-2-0 CCIW) jumped on the scoreboard in the 29th minute when Caroline Leighton scored off of a pass from Carlie Hoekstra.
The Titans added second half goals from Elizabeth Sinclair in the 56th minute and Kelsey Porter in the 60th minute to put the game away.
Elmhurst goalkeeper Jessica Eberle (Bloomington, Ind./North) and Allison Korbel (Schaumburg/H.S.) combined to record five saves while allowing three goals.
Alli Novak earned the win in net for the Titans, recording five saves.
Elmhurst travels to North Central College on Friday, October 12, at 7:00 p.m.
