Women's Soccer Team Falls to Augustana in OT

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's soccer team slipped to 1-2 in CCIW play following a 1-0 double overtime loss to Augustana College.
Augustana (8-3-1 overall, 2-2 CCIW) outshot Elmhurst (3-8-1 overall) 24-15 in the contest.
The Vikings' Lauren Polock blasted home the game's only goal early in the second overtime to give Augustana the win.
Bluejay goalkeepers Jessica Eberle (Bloomington, Ind./North) and Allison Korbel (Schaumburg/H.S.) combined to record 15 saves in goal for Elmhurst. Keri Hess recorded five saves in net for Augustana.
Elmhurst hosts Illinois Weslean University on Tuesday, October 9.
