Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at CCIW Tournament

The Elmhurst College women's golf team concluded its season with a sixth place finish at the CCIW Tournament, played over two days at Naperville's Springbrook Golf Course. The Bluejays shot 712 over the two days and placed four shots in front of seventh-place Millikin and just two behind fifth place Carthage.
Emily Labrecque was the top finisher for the Bluejays, ending in a tie for 11th with North Central's Jessica Struthers. Labrecque carded a team best 82 on the final day to finish with a cumulative score of 172. Whitney Heinzmann tied for 18th with a two-day total of 178 (95-83). Abby Gammage tied for 23rd by firing a 180 (92-88) while Kelly Partyka tied for 26th with a total of 182 (93-89).
Five of the entrants for the Bluejays bettered their score from the first day of the tournament. Illinois Wesleyan won the tournament, placing four individuals in the top five.
