Women's Golf Team Takes Fifth at RMC Spring Invite
WAUKEGAN, Ill. - Elmhurst College's Whitney Heinzmann (Steeleville/H.S.) captured the individual title at the Robert Morris College Spring Golf Invitational by shooting an 81. As a team, the Bluejays placed fifth.
Heinzmann's 81 was a new career low. She finished three strokes in front of North Central College's Alyssa Gaudio, who captured the CCIW individual title in the fall.
Emily Labrecque (Battle Creek, Mich./Lake View) placed 18th by shooting a 96 while Kelly Partyka (Wood Dale/Lake Park) shot a 101 to take 24th place. Abby Gammage (Farmer City/Blue Ridge) fired a 102 to tie for 27th place while Amber Remblake (Lake Zurich/H.S.) shot a 104 to tie for 31st place. Devin Wangler (Harvard/H.S.) shot a 119 to take 41st place.
