Women's Golf Team Takes Seventh at CCIW Meet
DECATUR, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's golf team closed out the 2007 season by placing seventh at the CCIW Championships. The Bluejays shot a two-day total of 733 (366-367). Illinois Wesleyan University won the team title with a 628.
Emily Labrecque (Battle Creek, Mich./Lakeview) led the Bluejays with a 28th place finish, shooting a 178 (88-90). Whitney Heinzmann (Steeleville/H.S.) and Abby Gammage (Farmer City/Blue Ridge) both tied for 32nd place by shooting a 183. Kelly Partyka (Wood Dale/Lake Park) placed 36th with a 189 (94-95) while Devin Wangler (Harvard/H.S.) placed 38th with a 194 (97-97). Kalen Iberg (Highland/H.S.) shot a 219 to place 46th.
