Bluejay Bowlers Drop Two at Whitewater
WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Elmhurst College women's bowling team slipped to 57-39 on the season after dropping a pair of games at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Elmhurst dropped the first game 959-871 despite Bethany Holden rolling a team-high 196. Sarah Paul added a 182 while Shannon Grimes and Alyssa Vogler each bowled a 173.
The Bluejays fell in the best-of-seven Baker Match 4-1. Elmhurst won the first game, but UW-Whitewater rallied to win four straight games and take the match.
Elmhurst bowls at the Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn. on March 13-15.
