Bluejay Women Knock off Macalester 53-36

PASADENA, Calif. - The Elmhurst College women's basketball team pulled to 2-2 overall with a 53-36 win over Macalester College at the Cal. Tech. T-Day Tournament.
Elmhurst shot 41.7 percent from the floor (20-of-48), including 38.5 percent from 3-point range (5-of-13).
Lyndsie Long (Sugar Grove/Kaneland) led the Bluejays in the win, netting 18 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Candice Sutton (Matteson/Rich South) added 12 points and six boards while Eireann Neiheisel (Palos Hills/Stagg) added eight points in the win. Marissa Parker (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Central) led the team in rebounds with nine.
Elmhurst faces Southwestern College (Ariz.) tomorrow on day two of the tournament.
