Follow the Bluejay Wrestling Team at the NCAA Championships
ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst wrestlers Jake Oster and Mark Corsello are both competing at this weekend's NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Oster enters the NCAA Championships looking for his third straight all-American honor and first national championship. Oster is seeded number one at 125 pounds and has an unblemished 23-0 record. This season, he's pinned defending national champion Seth Flodeen of Augsburg (seeded fourth), and also pinned number-two seed Clayton Rush of Coe College. Oster will wrestle Shaun Farnham (30-3) of Wilkes College in the first round.
Corsello is seeded fifth at 285 pounds. He earned all-America honors last season by placing seventh in his freshman season. Corsello (27-7) will face Springfield's Christopher Brown (38-11) in the first round.
