Cross Country Teams Run at UW-Oshkosh
OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Elmhurst College men's and women's cross country teams ran at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational. The women's team placed 21st while the men's squad placed 20th.
The women's squad placed 21st with 553 points. Katlyn Bednarski finished 70th overall in 24:15.03 while Rebekah Clark finished 129th in 23:55.21. Megan Johnson finished 137th in 24:07.19 while Michelle Smith crossed the finish line in 147th place in 24:12.35. Laura Grabowski rounded out Elmhurst's scoring with a 191st place finish in 24:42.70.
On the men's side, the Bluejays placed 22nd with 625 points. Pat Austin was the top finisher for Elmhurst, placing 32nd overall in 25:07.14. Brian McConnell added a 144th place finish in 26:10.86 and Bob Spelich placed 223rd in 26:48.55. Jeff Camp finished 245th in 27:01.34 while Nathan Selling rounded out Elmhurst's scoring 357th place in 27:56.40.
