Domczewski Named CCIW Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - For the second consecutive week, Elmhurst College's Sebastian Domczewski has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer.

Domczewski, a junior goalkeeper, lowered his goals against average to 0.59 after a pair of games last week. On Wednesday (September 8), he allowed only one goal while recording six saves in a double overtime tie of eighth-ranked Dominican University. On Sunday (September 13), he recorded his second shutout of the season in the Bluejays' 4-0 win over Robert Morris University-Lake County. Domczewski preserved the shutout by stopping a penalty kick.

Elmhurst currently has a 3-1-1 overall record. The Bluejays travel to Hope College on Wednesday, September 16.
