Men's Soccer Team Blanks Robert Morris

ELMHURST, Ill. - Daniel Gordon netted a hat trick to lift the Elmhurst College men's soccer team to a 4-0 shutout victory over Robert Morris University-Lake County.
Elmhurst (3-1-1) led 2-0 at the half after first half goals from Jake Pahr and Gordon. Pahr started the scoring in the 14th minute when he scored of a Ken Miller pass. Gordon netted his first goal in the 36th minute off a Cary Kendzior assist.
Gordon tallied his second goal of the game in the 80th minute off a Sal Uriostegui feed. Two minutes later he capped the scoring with his third goal of the game. Riley Niles registered an assist on Gordon's third goal.
Elmhurst controlled the tempo of the game, outshooting Robert Morris 19-4 in the game.
Sebastian Domczewksi recorded the shutout in goal for Elmhurst. He registered a pair of saves, including a save on a penalty kick.
Elmhurst travels to Hope College on Wednesday, September 16.
