Men's Soccer Team Outlasts Edgewood

ELMHURST, Ill., September 16, 2005 - Tom Hunka (Lake Zurich-H.S.) scored a goal in the 86th minute to give Elmhurst a 3-2 win over Edgewood College. The Bluejays improved to 4-3 overall with the win.
Rob Gajewski (Lake Zurich-H.S.) put the Bluejays on the scoredboard late in the first half when he scored in the 40th minute. Eric Dusik made the score 2-0 when he added a goal in the 47th minute.
Edgewood answered right back when Shawn Glynn netted a goal, just one minute after Dusik's. Kevin Fisher tied the score in the 68th minute.
Hunka scored the game winner with just 3:36 to play in the match.
Britt Blackwell (Lake Zurich-H.S.) stopped eight shots in goal while picking up the win.
The Bluejays play at UW-Whitewater on Monday, September 19.
