Men's Soccer Team Falls to CNU 2-1

NEWPORT NEWS, Va., September 10, 2005 - The Elmhurst College men's soccer team slipped to 2-2 on the season after falling to Christopher Newport University 2-1.
Elmhurst grabbed an early 1-0 lead when Rob Gajewski netted a goal on a feed from Randy Warren in the eighth minute of play.
Christopher Newport scored the equalizer in the 26th minute on a header from James Nugent. Derek Shaw put CNU up 2-1 in the 34th minute.
Britt Blackwell suffered the loss in goal for the Bluejays. He allowed two goals while recording six saves.
