Men's Golf Team Places Second at Cress Creek Invite
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team placed second at the Cress Creek Invitational by shooting a one-day total of 630.
Playing in in just his second collegiate event, freshman Josh Gorzney led the Bluejays by shooting a 152 (75-77) to tie for second place.
Freshman Matt Cross finished just four strokes behind, shooting a 156 (77-79) to place 11th. Scott Stastny tied for 20th place by shooting a 160 (79-81) while Billy Buchholz totaled a 162 (82-80) to tie for 28th place. Josh Magee rounded out Elmhurst's scoring by shooting a 166 (85-81), tying for 37th place in the process.
Elmhurst golfs at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Fall Invitational on September 27-28.
