Men's Golf Team In Sixth Place After CCIW First Rounds
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team currently sits in sixth-place after the first two rounds of the CCIW Tournament.
Elmhurst shot a two-day total of 611. The Bluejays are 15 shots behind North Central College and Millikin University who are both tied for fourth place with identical scores of 596. Illinois Wesleyan University is the tournament leader with a 557.
Ben O'Bryan shot a two-day score of 148 (76-72) to lead the Bluejays. O'Bryan currently sits in 15th place. Josh Magee is just two strokes behind, tied for 17th place with a 150 (76-74). Seth Birkholz sits in 23rd place with a 153 (75-78) while Scott Stastny is in 35th place with a 160 (80-80). Tyler Qahhaar is in 37th place with a 169.
The CCIW title will be handed out in two weeks as the championships concludes with rounds 3-4 taking place at Whisper Creek Golf Club in Huntley.
