Men's Golf Team Takes Fourth at St. Francis
LOCKPORT, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team placed fourth at the one-day University of St. Francis Invitational.
The Bluejays shot a 315 to tie with St. Francis' "B" team. Eureka College won the event with a 307. The St. Francis "A" team placed second with a 308 while Olivet Nazarene University placed third with a 311.
Competing as an individual, Scott Stastny shot a 76 to tie for fifth place. Tyler Qahhaar tied for 10th place with a 78. Seth Birkholz, Ben O'Bryan, and Josh Magee all shot an identical 79 to tie for 13th place.
Elmhurst competes in the first round of the CCIW Championships this coming weekend (April 17-18).
