Men's Golf Team Takes Third at Own Invite

OAK BROOK, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team shot a 326 to take third place at the Elmhurst College Invitational at Oak Brook Golf Club.
Aurora University won the team title with a 317, while North Park University shot a 323 to take second.
Josh Magee (Ionia, Mich./H.S.) was the top finisher for Elmhurst, shooting a 78 to place fifth. Dan Roth (Plainfield/H.S.) tied for ninth place with an 80, while Kurt Dietrick (Oak Lawn/Richards) and Kyle Mann (Hinsdale/Central) each shot an 84 to tie for 16th place. Seth Birkholz (Forreston/H.S.) shot an 86 to tie for 21st place.
Jake Lewis (Leonardtown, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) led the Bluejays' "B" team by shooting an 81 to take 12th place.
