CCIW Football Coaches to Have Online Chat
For the first time in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) history the the league will conduct a live online chat with its eight head football coaches, including Elmhurst head coach Tim Lester on Thursday, August 6 at 10 a.m.
Media, fans and other followers of CCIW football can join the chat by visiting the CCIW website on August 6. During the chat, participants will be able to ask questions of all eight CCIW football coaches regarding the upcoming season. Joining Lester in the chat will be Augustana College’s Jim Barnes, Carthage College's Tim Rucks, Illinois Wesleyan University’s Norm Eash, Millikin University’s Doug Neibuhr, North Central College’s John Thorne, North Park University’s Scott Pethtel and Wheaton College’s Mike Swider.
At the conclusion of the live chat, the CCIW preseason football poll will be announced.
The online chat will be conducted by CCIW Assistant Commissioner/Sports Information Director Mike Krizman and all questions will be screened before they are presented to the coaches. The coaches will try to answer as many questions from the audience as possible.
