Ryan Burks Named CCIW Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst College junior Ryan Burks (Manito/Midwest Central) has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's men's basketball Player of the Week.
Burks made the most of his one game last week, matching his career-high with 29 points in Elmhurst's 86-74 win over Mount St. Joseph on Saturday (December 15). Burks shot 11-of-19 from the floor while also grabbing three rebounds and recording five assists and three steals in the win.
A second-team all-conference selection last season, Burks is averaging 19.4 points per game this season.
