Men's Golf Team Takes Sixth at CCIW
WHEATON, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team shot a two-day total of 656 to close out the CCIW Championships in sixth place.
After entering the weekend in eighth place with a 645, the Bluejays climbed up to sixth place in the final standings with a total of 1301. The Bluejays held off seventh-place finisher, North Park University, by two strokes.
Kurt Dietrick (Oak Lawn/Richards) was the top finisher for Elmhurst, shooting a 321 to tie for 20th place. Josh Magee (Ionia, Mich./H.S.) placed 23rd with a 323 while Dan Roth (Plainfield/H.S.) placed 27th with a 334.
Seth Birkholz (Forreston/H.S.) and Kyle Mann (Hinsdale/Central) each shot a 335 to tie for 31st place.
